This privacy policy describes how personal data is processed on https://emissar.io. The controller within the meaning of the GDPR is:

This policy applies only to this website. It does not cover information collected offline or through other channels.

What we collect and why

Waitlist email address. If you join the Emissar waitlist, we process the email address you submit in order to send you a confirmation email (double opt-in) and, after you confirm, occasional updates about Emissar, early access, and launch information. Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw consent at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to hello@kasayo.com.

Messages you send us. If you contact us by email, we process your address and the content of your message to answer you. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in responding to inquiries, or Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your inquiry relates to entering into a contract.

Server log data. When you visit the site, our hosting provider automatically records technical access data such as IP address, browser type, operating system, referrer URL, and the date and time of access. We use this data to deliver the site reliably and to detect and defend against attacks. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, our legitimate interest in operating a secure website. Log data is not merged with other data and is deleted when it is no longer needed for these purposes.

Cookies

This site sets only technically necessary cookies, if any. We do not use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking, or third-party analytics on this site. Because no consent-requiring technologies are in use, the site shows no cookie consent banner.

Email service provider

Waitlist emails are managed through MailerLite (MailerLite Limited, Ground Floor, 71 Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2, D02 P593, Ireland), which processes your email address on our behalf as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR. MailerLite stores the address, the confirmation status of your signup, and delivery metadata. Details: MailerLite privacy policy.

Hosting

The site is hosted on infrastructure of a hosting provider that processes server log data on our behalf. Data may be processed in data centers inside and outside the EU; where transfers to third countries occur, they are safeguarded by EU standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep data

Waitlist data is kept until you withdraw consent or until the waitlist purpose ends, after which it is deleted. Correspondence is kept as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any statutory retention periods. Log data is deleted on a rolling basis.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the member state of your residence or workplace. The authority responsible for us is the Bayerisches Landesamt für Datenschutzaufsicht (BayLDA), Ansbach.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We will update this policy when the site's data processing changes, for example when the product launches. The version published here applies; changes are indicated by the "Last updated" date above.
